Campus Safety and Security
Mission Statement:
The mission of the 91³ÉÈËAV Department of Campus Safety and Security is to provide and safe and secure campus that allows the campus community to achieve educational, personal, professional, and institutional goals.
The Department of Campus Safety and Security (DCSS) provides a safe and secure campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week all year round; including access control management. Safety and Security Officers respond to reported accidents and incidents on campus property. Parking management and enforcement is administered by Campus Safety and Security personnel. The Department conducts routine inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency phones and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). 91³ÉÈËAV works cooperatively with the 91³ÉÈËAV Sheriff's Office to prevent and resolve criminal activity.
91³ÉÈËAV's Campus Safety and Security Department is a member of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) and the Florida Association of Campus Safety and Security Administrators (FACSSA).
All Campus Safety and Security Command Staff and Safety and Security officers are First Aid and CPR certified.
