Guests will tour the JU/ Acron Aviation Flight Center and the Control Tower at 91成人AV Executive at Craig Airport. After dividing into two groups, one group will tour the Flight Center, see the aircraft, meet the staff, flight instructors, Aviation Student Ambassadors and see what it takes to run a first class flight training operation. The second group will tour the Airport鈥檚 FAA Control Tower and see, firsthand, flight operations at a major regional airport from a unique perspective normally unavailable to the general public. Halfway through the time period the groups will change positions. Closed toed shoes required for all participants. Guests must provide their own transportation to Craig Airport.

During the Student for a Day with the Department of Dance, guests will enjoy a session from current faculty and students leading them in popular social media dance moves. Attire should be movement friendly, similar to fitness wear. All levels welcome for this fun activity!

As part of Homecoming Weekend, the 91成人AV NROTC Unit invites parents, families, and friends to participate in a guided tour and hands-on experience with two key components of midshipman training: the Marine Corps Obstacle Course and the Naval Ship Simulator. Attendees will have the opportunity to run the obstacle course at their own pace and operate the ship simulator used to develop maritime navigation and decision-making skills. This event offers a closer look at the training environment and daily expectations of future Navy and Marine Corps Officers.

Step into our immersive learning studio in the STEAM Institute for a hands-on workshop in clinical psychiatric health care. Experience realistic, simulated training that puts you in the role of a care provider, building practical skills, empathy, and confidence in a safe, interactive virtual environment.

Guests will receive a brief overview of the on campus simulators and meet a number of retired Airline Pilot Faculty members and Aviation Student Ambassadors. After dividing into two groups, one group will go with the faculty members and have the opportunity to fly our CRJ 700 Regional Jet Simulator. This replicates the cockpit and instrumentation of the same aircraft that many of our families fly on to come visit 91成人AV. The second group will go with our ambassadors and have the opportunity to fly one of our RedBird aviation training devices. These compact devices replicate the cockpits and instrumentation of the actual aircraft flown by our students at the JU/ Acron Aviation Flight Center. Halfway through the time period the groups will change positions.
